Devlog #3 - More Lighthouse Floors
Helloooo,
Today I show you more about the next 2 floors of my dungeon, where the player gets the Bulburst, a key item similar to a slingshot.
These two floors were really big, with many gameplay mecanics, so I spend most of the time debugging them, instead of decorating properly the rooms. But eventually, the lighting manage to give some moods.
Soooo the Bulburst ! It's a classic from Zelda series, almost every game start with this item. So I stick to this tradition with a Tjikko flair. The Bulburst is born from the ether overvoltage the player triggers in the hidden room. Ether is concentrated in it, and it can shoot ether balls that can switch on & off Bulbs. It can also triggers hidden switches, reveal by the player Scope.
After getting the key item, the player will be able to unlock new path in the central room, choose one way and eventually reach the next floor, which has a linear progression before the final floors.
I also manage to build a traveling basket but the decals will have to wait ^^'
This week , I want to make the final floors playable, and build a checkpoint sytem working with the fall & death of the player
